MV Appaloosa, a 36.000 dwt bulker of the most advanced, eco-optimised “SeaStallion” type was delivered by CSC Jingling Shipyard, Nanjing, to Ariston Navigation Corp. today and subsequently joined the “Sea Stallion Pool”.
The naming ceremony was attended by the vessel’s owners and the christening was performed by Mrs. Katerina Xyla-Loth.
MV “Appaloosa” is the second vessel of a series of eight “SeaStallion” bulkers, which have been ordered by clients of Ariston Navigation Corp. Its design is based on the Seahorse 35 type being in operation successfully since 2011.
