ANC's commitment to maritime safety and humanitarian efforts remains unwavering as the fleet proudly renews its participation in the Amver system.
Amver, short for Automated Mutual-Assistance Vessel Rescue System, is a worldwide voluntary ship reporting system operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
The mission of Amver aligns perfectly with ANC's core values. In the event of a maritime distress call, Amver facilitates the rapid exchange of accurate information about participating vessels' positions and characteristics near the reported distress location. This timely and critical data sharing ensures that search and rescue (SAR) authorities have access to the most up-to-date information, expediting response efforts and enhancing the chances of successful rescue operations.
