The 4th ANC Seafarers Conference, a three-day event, commenced on the 15th of May 2017, attracting an enthusiastic gathering of approximately 60 Deck and Engine officers and ratings. This conference featured an impressive lineup of speakers from ANC Piraeus Head Office, ANC Manila Office, and a representative from the Marshall Islands Flag Administration.


Throughout the conference, an array of critical issues was addressed, covering Operational, Technical, Crewing, and Safety (ISM/ISPS) latest updates. These updates served to keep the attendees abreast of the industry's evolving practices and regulations, ensuring the fleet operated in compliance with the most current standards.


In addition, an in-depth analysis of the fleet's Port State Control (PSC) deficiencies over the last 12 months was conducted, enabling the participants to gain valuable insights and identify areas for improvement. The conference also delved into the significance of the Rightship organization and its impact on the fleet, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards for vessel performance and safety.


A highlight of the event was the introduction of the Seagull platform training updates by Mr. Katsivardelos, ANC's Crew Manager. These updates provided invaluable opportunities for professional development and enhancement of the crew's skills and knowledge.
